Beer #411 - 961 Porter

The final in my trio of 961 beers from the Lebanese microbrewery was their porter. I feel like it is only fair to judge this in the context that it was brewed which makes it pretty ace. I wouldn't really have believed that a porter this good would have come out of somewhere like Lebanon. Sure, in global terms it isn't anything special but for a Middle Eastern beer in this style its very solid. It pours a dark brown with a nice brown head. The flavour is coffee and earthy, its on the light side of medium-bodied but still robust enough to hold its own.

Brewery: 961 Beer
