Another pint from my trip to the Compton Arms last night.
Unfortunately as I ventured to the bar for a second pint the Lion had run dry and a barrel needed to be changed.
I therefore opted for a pint of the pubs second guest ale – Nelson’s Revenge.
This one comes from Woodforde’s, a brewery based in Norfolk in the east of
England. I don’t recall having tried any of their beers. This one was
reasonably good, although a bit too 'smooth' following the Lion, which to be fair
was a very hard act to follow.
