Beer #110 - Peroni Nastro Azzurro

Last week I went to the excellent Ecco Cafe on Lower Marsh, near Waterloo for pizza. The cafe is super cheap and the pizza was excellent. The only beers on offer were Peroni and Stella but at 8 quid for a pizza and a beer I wasn't about to complain. Birra Peroni is owned by SAB Miller which goes some way to explaining why Peroni is literally everywhere. I very rarely drink it although I consider it more palatable than English lagers so if nothing better is on offer it is occasionally my lager of choice. It's okay, nothing particularly exciting though, if you live in England you've probably had one so will know for yourself.

Brewery: Birra Peroni
Country: Italy
ABV: 5.1%
