Beer #81 - St Peter's Suffolk Gold

Last Friday I went to the Jerusalem Tavern, owned by StPeter’s Brewery and one of my favourite pubs in London. I believe I’ve waxed lyrical about this place before but I can’t really say how lucky I am to have St Peter’s only pub a few minutes walk from my workplace. Anyway first up I went for a bottle of Suffolk Gold. This is a good bitter ale brewed with Suffolk-grown hops. There aren’t huge flavours here; it’s got a nice caramel tone with some floral hints in there too. St. Peter’s just make great, classic ales.

Brewery: St Peter’s Brewery
Country: United Kingdom
