I'm far from being big fan of Wychwood, especially when it comes to their bottled beers, but I also am not going to turn down the chance to share some bottles with a friend. This Christmas brew was actually reasonably good much to my surprise, or perhaps I should say relatively good. The nose suggests some nice spicing with an aroma of cinnamon and nutmeg, which are also apparent in the flavour alongside English hops. It's quite on the sweet side and I wouldn't particularly want to drink more than one at a time but as far as mass-produced Christmas beers goes this not a terrible one!
