Last week I went to The Door Hinge, an excellent micropub in Welling (I wrote a brief review of the pub that I posted last week). The first beer I had at the pub was Moles Gold, a pale ale from Moles Brewery in Wiltshire that has been brewing since the 1980s. Gold is a part of the breweries core range. The beer pours gold with a white head and is quite light in body. There isn't a huge amount going on flavour-wise; it's malt forward with cereal and biscuit flavours with a very feint hint of grassy hops. Not great but a reasonable, easy-drinking pint.
Brewery: Moles Brewery
Country: United Kingdom
ABV: 3.8%
