Beer #217 - Peerless Bunny Hop Blond

A second pint at the Door Hinge and this time it was Bunny Hop Blond from Peerless Brewing Company, a microbrewery in Birkenhead. This was my favourite beer of the three I had at the pub so hats off to Peerless. It pours a clear, pale gold. Its triple-hopped and you pick up some nice orange and citrus notes on the nose. The taste is delightful, oranges and lemons with some grassy wheatiness. It’s wonderfully smooth and supremely drinkable, a really nice summery drop. This beer isn’t named on the Peerless website and I believe it is most likely their Triple Blonde with a seasonal pump clip. Indeed, the Peerless website is pretty scant on information but I am able to ascertain that 1) they’ve won a host of SIBA awards and 2) they seem to open the brewery up to the public every now and again (perhaps monthly) where they serve pints for £2 apiece. TWO POUNDS! Amazing.

Brewery: Peerless Brewing Company
Country: United Kingdom
ABV: 4.0%

Edit: I've had a tweet from Steve at Peerless which states... "This beer is a monthly seasonal available exclusively from Flying Firkin. Glad you liked it!"
