Beer #229 - Burning Sky Plateau Pale Ale

My second beer of four at The Harp last week and another new brewery to me; Burning Sky of East Sussex. Their Plateau Pale Ale, much like Windsor & Eton’s Parklife, makes liberal use of new world hops to pack plenty of flavour into a relatively low strength beer. It pours and appetising clear gold colour and there is plenty of hop on the nose. The flavour is bitter lemon and grapefruit but is clean and crisp. The brewery website is very pretty and also mentions an extensive and long-term ageing and blending programme which sounds rather interesting, I’ll be keeping my ear to the ground for more news of that.

Brewery: Burning Sky
Country: United Kingdom
ABV: 3.5%
