Beer #289 - Brick Hefeweizen

This is another one from my evening at Dulwich Hamlet FC, the single cask beer had sold out by the time I returned for a second pint at half time. Thankfully they also had some great bottled beer options from the Brick Brewery in Peckham. This Bavarian wheat beer was lovely. It poured a hazy pale gold colour with a small white head (into a plastic cup, but what can you do). The aroma is typical of the style - doughy with a hint of lemon and some spice. It's very light in body and refreshing yet is sufficiently robust in flavour - with herbal and grassy notes and an underlying wheatiness. Very drinkable.
