Beer #113 - Wolfie Smith Amber Ale

I've been very impressed with the two or three By the Horns beers I've had so far and I've been keen to try their Wolfie Smith Amber Ale since I first saw it. The beer takes its name from the UK TV program Citizen Smith which charted the comedic exploits of self-proclaimed 'urban guerilla' Wolfie Smith as he attempted to gain "Freedom for Tooting". The beer itself is surprisingly hoppy. The aroma is hoppy and it's got quite a bitter, hoppy finish. Hoppy hoppy hoppy. It was perfectly drinkable but a bit too bitter for my taste and not as suited to me as their other offerings that I've tried so far.

Brewery: By The Horns Brewing Co.
Country: United Kingdom
ABV: 5.2%
