The second beer I tried at the Cambridge Brew House was
Skiffle, brewed by Shortts Farm Brewery in Suffolk. The brewery was founded
just last summer by a young couple who strangely tell the story of how they
came to set up the brewery on their website, but don’t actually give us their
names. Anyway, minor detail. This beer I really liked, it has a lovely rich
malty flavour with some nice caramel tones. Really delicious. It seems that
Shorts Farm’s beers are largely available locally in Suffolk at the moment but
hopefully they’ll be able to expand their circle of influence soon!
