Beer #88 - Pin-Up Milk Stout

I had a bottle of this last week at the Old Red Cow, yet another pub with a lengthy beer list near my work. Pin-Up was founded in 2011 in Essex and all beers are ‘hand crafted’ in small batches, whatever that means…! This was a nice stout, it poured very dark and the predominant flavor was coffee with a bit of chocolate thrown in there too. Some nice roasted malts came through although I couldn’t really pick up any of the sweetness associated with milk stout. It was good though  and I’d certainly drink it again.

Brewery: Pin-Up Beers Ltd.
