Another bottle picked up absurdly cheaply at a Brussels supermarket.
This is another Trappist beer and is one of three produced at Brouwerij der
Trappisten van Westmalle. I also picked up a bottle of the Tripel which I’m yet
to drink. This is another absolutely super beer that I really enjoyed. Dark,
rich and fruity, I really enjoy the maltiness of this style. It compares very
favourably with the Rochefort 10 featured in my previous post but at 7% I feel
like I could almost manage a couple of these over the course of the evening and
it’s very drinkable.
