This is one of a few beers I brought back from my holiday to Sri Lanka in January. As per previous posts Lion is the number one brand in the
country, owned by Carlsberg. Lion Strong is a strong lager at 8.8% and I picked
this up on my last night as much out of curiosity as anything. Last weekend I
was having a Chinese takeaway and it seemed a good opportunity to crack this
one open. Unfortunately I couldn’t manage more than a couple of sips of it and
poured the rest away. It seemed to have all the bad elements of a lager
multiplied several times over. Would not drink again, cool can though.
